Access control - In security, specifically physical security, the term access control refers to the practice of restricting entrance to a property, a building, or a room to authorized persons. Physical access control can be achieved by a human; a guard, bouncer, or receptionist, through mechanical means such as locks and keys, or through technological means such as a card access system.
Role-Based Access Control - In computer systems security Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is an approach to restricting system access to authorized users. It is a newer and alternative approach to Mandatory Access Control (MAC) and Discretionary Access Control (DAC).
Multi categories security - “Multi Categories Security” (MCS), is an access control method that use non hierarchical categories attached to objects (files, records, messages …), and granted to subjects (processes,…) at the operating system level. This is mainly a discretionary access control (DAC) because labeling is over user control, providing label and “rights to use” be defined, by an administrator.
Intrusion-prevention system - An intrusion prevention system (a computer security term) is any device which exercises access control to protect computers from exploitation. "Intrusion prevention" technology is considered by some to be an extension of intrusion detection (IDS) technology, but it is actually another form of access control, like an application layer firewall.

The section on intrusion detection and access control lists, record-oriented I/O, remote network access, and file versioning. Network professionals, designers, developers, administrators, planners, and managers will find in these pages the authentication strategy to protect their valuable systems. Authentication is one of the basic building blocks of security. Students will appreciate the forward-looking approach that offers a look at the future of the industry where they are preparing for careers. The good news is that organizations now have available to them a broad range of alternatives to passwords, and a variety of ways to make passwords safer. The section on intrusion detection and access control provides examples of security systems implemented as a part of an operating system. IS-95 CDMA and cdma2000: Cellular/PCS Systems Implementation covers all aspects of up-to-date CDMA implementation and operation, including: Coding and architecture Radio interface and call flow Physical, data link, and signaling layers Handoff and power control System security Wireless Data Reverse and Forward Link Capacity RF Engineering and network security is also discussed. Files-11 is similar in many ways. Authentication is one of the major differences, however, is the layout of directories. Special system files, such as program executables and the OS itself, were stored in the directory of a reserved system account. Subjects covered include private-key and public-key encryption, hashing, digital signatures, authentication, secret sharing, group-oriented cryptography, and many others. The first of its kind, "Authentication describes the entire range of authentication methods used today. The upcoming cdma2000 standard will further expand usable bandwidth without sacrificing voice quality or requiring additional spectrum. These filesystems all provided some form of rudimentary non-hierarchical directory structure,
